SCORE® volunteers provide free and confidential business management mentoring to small business owners and those who are considering the start of a new business.
Requesting Mentoring:
To arrange for counseling, the first step is to go to the Chapter 390 Client Logon page where you will need to register with us and then fill out and submit the online Counseling Request form. CLICK HERE to Logon and follow the instructions on how to proceed. [NOTE: When you get to the online form, we ask that you ALWAYS use the block entitled “If you chose Other in the above drop down, please describe specific assistance requested” to tell us more about your situation (e.g., Specific Type of Business; Where you are in planning process; or specific problem or issue you’d like to discuss.)] Once you have submitted a Counseling Request, a counselor will be assigned. The assigned counselor will contact you to meet with you at a time that is mutually agreeable. NOTE: If you've previously been counseled by our SCORE chapter and you can no longer reach your counselor for a desired follow-up session, please E-mail us with the particulars so that we can reassign you to a new counselor or otherwise resolve the situation without delay.

Additional Resources:
There are numerous sources of information available on the Internet on topics that are pertinent to starting and managing successful small businesses. Our Other Links page is a good place to start your search. Your local public library is also convenient resource in this regard. The Annapolis Branch of the Anne Arundel County Public Library, in particular, has an extensive collection of reference materials on business. You may also request mentoring from a national cadre of "E-mail Mentors" that have specialized expertise. This option is also available from our Mentoring page.
An additional resource is the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) web site which includes downloadable publications, online training courses, software and information of interest to both current business owners and those who wish to start a business. The SBA site also includes links to other SCORE® home pages and to other business related sites.
